Nordic Soul

I hate to admit it but I was really down this weekend. Something was just off. No energy, not really excited about much. I was actually looking forward to going to work today. So you KNOW something has to be wrong if that is the case. 


However, it allowed me the opportunty to rediscover the power of beautiful music to soothe and inspire. There is nothing that I'm digging more than these three singers/songwriters from Scandinavia.  I don't know, there must be something in the air there....





Ane Brun. Discovered her on NPR. Her more famous song is much faster but most of her music is tranquil and just beautiful. 





Agnes Obel. Oh, Agnes....you just speak to my soul. 





Lykke Li. Probably better known...but this song is really heartfelt and unique.
