Forgotten cities

I met David Schalliol in Michigan when there was snow on the ground, so it was a little while ago now. He told me a little bit about his work in sociology, photography and activism in the midwest. Once I checked out his site, I kept finding myself coming back again and again.

His photographs of industrial era cities in the midwest are incredibly powerful. Beautiful, sad and very inspiring. Check out more and the message here
