Picnics in the Park

So EVN and I have repeated conversations about how we do not take advantage of our fair city, Chicago. During the winter months it is easy to make excuses since you have to have a crazy streak to want to be outside for too long. But in the summer there is no excuse. Millienium Park is one of the jewels of Chicago and during the summer months they offer free concerts just about every day. Their line-up this year for New Music Mondays is pretty incredible, Iron and Wine, Phospherescent, and Ted Leo and the Pharmacists to name a few!

After reading this post about Mason Jar Meals, I am determined to get us down there this summer at least a couple times. Don't they look amazing? Especially that pesto pasta!

  1. I'm glad you posted the link to the Millennium Park summer concert series. My boy is bummed we missed Bonnie Prince Billy on Monday.
